About Me
Jenna Hesbol, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
Many changes in life—even when they are welcomed—involve an aspect of loss. Growth requires honoring and letting go of what no longer fits or makes sense for our lives, and the process is bound to present hurdles along the way.
My role as a therapist is to help you cultivate connection and authenticity with yourself and in your relationships on the road to healing. As we work to better understand what is causing pain, therapy can help you embrace a new path ahead.

My Background & Experience
I did not initially intend to become a therapist! When I enrolled in a psychology graduate program, I was focused on furthering what I thought would be a career in Higher Education. However, before I knew it, I fell in love with the coursework and began rethinking my trajectory. This study and exploration in psychology put so many of my own puzzle pieces together, and I found that I was deeply passionate about supporting others in navigating challenges and embracing the parts of themselves that long to be seen and valued.
My early clinical training offered me exposure to a vast spectrum of human experience that really shed light on how our environments, attachments, life circumstances, values, beliefs, and history influence the meaning we create about our lives. While every person’s story is unique, many of my clients shared a common thread of suffering loss and disappointment. I also came to understand that we all have innate strengths and a capacity for healing and that the therapeutic process bolsters that natural resilience.
“Imperfections are not inadequacies. They are reminders we are in this together.” – Brene Brown
My practice specializes in humanistic, highly relational therapy for individual adults and couples navigating loss, transition, conflict, and disconnection. Bridging advanced clinical training with an experiential and empathetic therapeutic style, I feel it is important to create a therapy space where clients can access vulnerability and let go of shame.
What To Expect In Our Work Together
Therapy is about tapping into an authentic inner voice and insight that can guide us toward a better life. While behavioral change is great—and something we can incorporate into the process—I believe the most sustained, foundational healing takes place at a more deeply rooted internal and sacred place.
I value taking an individualized approach to our work together in order to help you feel seen, heard, and validated in your experiences. Together, we’ll use your emotional experience and inner wisdom as a guide to gently move through what has been hard. This process supports an arrival on the other side of your pain point feeling more grounded, true to yourself, and with a new perspective—primed for whatever change lies ahead.
Alongside the exploration we will do in therapy, I may provide you with take-home exercises to reinforce your progress. Additionally, our work may involve practicing skills in session so you feel clear about how to take what we have accomplished out into the world. With the right combination of addressing core wounds and fostering actionable skills, a more fulfilling, embodied existence is possible.
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” – Carl Jung
Your pain and struggle are real, and I bet they all make a lot of sense if we look at your internal and external world. If we look deeply enough within, we can find a path toward healing. Contact me to schedule a session or find out more.
